The owner and the rest of the staff were awesome. You could tell they really cared. The food was very good quality and extremely tasty. I couldn't decide between the Biscoff pudding or banana pudding, so I got them both. They are both amazing.

Incredible customer service! I placed an order three months ago, but because of the wait I had to ask for a refund. The owner not only gave me the refund but told me that I could have the items for free anytime I came back. I'm absolutely enjoying the food.

Bussin buns definitely lives up to their name! Some of the best hot chicken in Austin by far up there with T22 and spicy boys! The guys are always friendly at the truck. We always enjoy the bussin fries and the tenders, not for the weak hearted!

First time here, and my initial impressions were--honestly, not great. The area is a bit of a dump, and the server wasn't particularly engaging. The music was too loud, making it hard to hear when ordering. We got the Bussin' Combo at X-Hot spice level, a mac and cheese for the kiddo, and a drink. There are a few benches to sit at, so we decided to eat there. They text you when the food is ready, which was convenient. While waiting, I noticed it's really popular for pick-up orders--it stayed busy the entire time we were there. The food took a while, but I don't mind waiting for something freshly prepared. When it finally came, we split everything among the three of us. The mac and cheese initially had spicy seasoning, which was too spicy for the kiddo. We asked them to remove the seasoning and they kindly replaced it with one without it, which we really appreciated. The mac and cheese was delicious, and the kiddo loved it. As for the chicken--it was excellent! Fresh halal chicken that was tender and juicy, yet with a crispy outer batter. The seasoning was properly spicy, just how I like it. Honestly, X-Hot was intense, so I wouldn't go higher next time, but I also wouldn't go lower either! It definitely cleared out my sinuses with all the tears and water streaming from my eyes and nose. Despite the initial poor impressions, we really enjoyed our meal and left totally satisfied. I'd definitely come back, but since they've opened a north location closer to us, we'll be supporting them there instead!

This food truck holds true to its name and is BUSSIN. The chicken is so well spiced and crispy! I've tried the tender plate and the combo plate (sandwich + 1 tender). I think the tenders are better than the sandwich because you can taste the flavor of the meat a lot better! There are a few tables for outdoor seating, but most people take it to go. I usually order online and pick it up and it's ready pretty quickly.

The food was okay! I wasn't completely wow'd, but I would return to try something else. The service of the workers was great! It wasnt a long wait for our food at all. This is a food truck, so expect the ambiance to be outside and a bit hot while you eat!

So, for a small stand on the side of the road, this place has some fiery in their chicken. Most people think that small stands are 50/50 and never know what you are going to get. We'll have a good gamble on this one. The owner is the guy who takes your order and he has great customer service. It was not spicy enough for me what I ordered, so he threw some more spice and precooked it for me and no charge. I was amazed. They have some picnic tables to just relax and much. Or you can take it with you to go. Over all great experience.

I always drove by this place and finally decided to come check it out cause I love Nashville hot chicken. At lunch time on Friday, the wait was about 10 minute to get the food after you placed the order. I got the combo since I wanted to try both the sandwich and the tender. I got the "hot" spice level and it really wasn't spicy at all but great flavoring. The chicken was so juicy and the bread that came with it nice and fluffy! The only thing that was subpar was the fries. Next time, I'll just order the tender without the fries. Highly recommend if y'all are looking for some good Nashville hot chicken!

OVERALL: 3.5/5 My bf and I have been wanting to try this place after seeing so much rave about it. We ordered the tender plate level Hot with a side of ranch. After we ordered, we had to wait about 35-40 minutes for our food to be ready which was fine. (I would say order ahead if it's more convenient for you!!) The guy taking our order was cool and helpful with answering our questions. We inspected our food and realized they missed both our side of ranch and the side bussin sauce that was already included with the plate. Good thing we hadn't left the lot so we were able to snag those (after waiting in line again). FOOD: I was disappointed that the fries were not fresh after waiting so long. The tenders did seem freshly cooked. The hot spice level definitely had a kick but I wouldn't say it was overly spicy (I have a high spice tolerance fyi). Bussin Sauce was good! This place is Halal!
